Liquid Fuel with Wick Hendi 4h - 6 pieces

Perfect for catering professionals, this Liquid Fuel with Wick is made of diethylene glycol (DEG), which is better known as radiator antifreeze. DEG can be fixed and burned using a wick at a temperature of 143 °C called the combustion point. This liquid is supplied in non-rechargeable closed metal tins of 145 g with a combustion duration of approximately 4 hours.

The adjustable wick in height can regulate the intensity of the flame. For its use, it is necessary to place it under a chafing dish or another suitable device for liquid fuel tins with or without a wick. It burns without soot, toxic emissions, or odors. The heat output of this Fuel is approximately 50% compared to fuel paste.

It has many advantages over fuel paste. First of all, its use is safe. When it falls, the flame will not change. Simply blow to extinguish the flame or close the tin with the cap. Thanks to the appropriate cap, it is possible to reuse the same tin multiple times and store or transport them safely.

The cost per hour is comparable to that of liquid fuel, less strong than liquid fuel, which prevents the water in the chafing dish water pan from boiling and evaporating. Furthermore, the tins do not heat up and can be used without a stand. They are more secure during use.

Recommendations : the liquid is to some extent hazardous to health. It is necessary to wear latex gloves or wash hands after adjusting the wick or having direct contact with the liquid.
